Most medium and large employers run applications through an applicant tracking system first. Single-column layouts with real text parse cleanly; multi-column ones, tables and text boxes often do not. If you are applying through a portal rather than emailing a named person, weight this above everything else.
In Egypt, the Gulf and much of continental Europe a photo is normal and its absence is sometimes read as an omission. In the UK, US, Ireland and Australia it is discouraged, and some employers discard CVs carrying one to avoid discrimination claims. Match the market you are applying into, not the one you live in.
A dense classic layout looks authoritative with fifteen years behind it and looks sparse with two. Pick the design that your current content fills, not the one you expect to grow into.
Worth saying plainly: no template gets you an interview. What gets read is the top third of the first page — your title, your summary and your most recent role. A good design makes that third easy to find; it cannot make it worth reading.

Minimal and Classic are the safest, because they are plain single-column layouts with standard section headings. In practice all seven export as single-column PDFs with selectable text, which is the part that matters most — but the fewer visual features a design has, the less there is to misread.
Edit it here and export again rather than editing the PDF. Your draft stays saved, so changing one line and re-downloading takes a few seconds and keeps the formatting intact — which editing a PDF directly usually does not.
One page if you have under about five years of experience, two if you have more. Three is almost never read in full. If you are at two and a half, cut the oldest roles down to a single line each rather than shrinking the font.
