About PDF to JPG
Confileo's PDF to JPG tool exports each PDF page as a high-quality JPG image. Everything runs in your browser, free and without signup, and your files are deleted automatically after processing.
A PDF cannot be dropped everywhere. A form accepts image uploads only, a slide deck needs the page as a graphic, a marketplace listing wants a picture, and in a chat an image previews instantly where a PDF has to be downloaded first. Converting the PDF to JPG covers all of those.
You upload the PDF, each page becomes its own JPG, and you download a single page or all of them together. Nothing is installed and the original file stays as it is on your device.
Resolution decides the outcome. A PDF page has no pixels — it has a size in millimetres, and pixels only exist once it is rendered. For viewing on screen, 150 dpi is enough; for text that has to stay comfortably readable, 200 to 300 dpi is the useful range; above that you are mostly growing the file. If the image will be printed, 300 dpi is the sensible floor, or edges start to look soft.
Here is the part that surprises people: JPG is a lossy format designed for photographs, not for lettering. On hard black-and-white edges — which is exactly what letters and rules are — it produces faint halos that make text look dirty. For a text-heavy page, a table or a technical drawing, PNG gives a visibly cleaner result. JPG earns its place when the page is mostly photographic, or when file size is the binding constraint.
On a multi-page document you get one image per page. If you only need page seven, split the PDF first rather than sorting through twenty files afterwards — it takes less time and avoids the naming mix-ups that follow bulk exports.
Remember that an image no longer contains text: after converting, nothing can be selected, copied or found by search, and no screen reader can read it. Keep the PDF alongside if any of that matters. Your file is deleted from the server after processing.
