About Text to Handwriting
Confileo's Text to Handwriting tool turns typed text into a page that reads as if it were written by hand. Everything runs in your browser, free and without signup, and your files are deleted automatically after processing.
There are moments when typed text is the wrong texture: a note that should feel personal, a card, a page of revision notes, a mock-up that needs to look written rather than set. Typing it and rendering it as handwriting gets you there in seconds without owning good penmanship.
The page is laid out and rendered by a real browser engine, and that choice is the whole reason this handles Arabic properly. Arabic is a cursive script — letters take initial, medial and final forms and join into words. The common tools apply a Latin handwriting font to Arabic text and return disconnected letters, which is instantly wrong to any reader. Here the shaping happens first, so words join the way a hand would write them.
Realism comes from irregularity, not from the font. Each word is nudged horizontally and vertically, rotated a fraction of a degree, scaled a couple of percent and given slightly different ink density — because a real hand drifts across a word, never between letters. Set the messiness control to zero and the page instantly reads as a font again, which is the clearest demonstration of what the setting does.
Four hands are available. Ruqʿah is the script Arabs actually write by hand day to day, and it is the default for that reason. Naskh is the neat, careful book hand. Katibeh is looser and faster. A Latin hand covers English text. Five papers — lined, blank, grid, dotted and aged — have their rule spacing derived from your line height, so the writing sits on the lines instead of floating between them.
Export a PNG for a single tall image that shares easily in a chat, or a PDF when the text runs long and needs to break across A4 pages and print correctly. Up to twenty thousand characters per render, roughly eight to ten pages, and nothing is kept after the file is handed back.

Text to Handwriting — Frequently asked questions
Does it handle Arabic properly?
Yes, and this is the part most tools get wrong. Arabic is cursive: letters change shape depending on their neighbours and join into words. Tools that apply a Latin handwriting font to Arabic hand back disconnected letters. Here the text is shaped by a real text engine first, so words join the way they should.
Why does the result look hand-written rather than like a font?
Because nothing on the page is perfectly aligned. Every word is nudged, rotated a fraction of a degree and given slightly different ink density. Set the messiness slider to zero and you will see the difference immediately — it reads as a font again.
Can I choose the paper?
Five kinds: lined, blank, grid, dotted and aged. The rule spacing follows your line-height setting, so the writing always sits on the lines rather than floating between them.
What is the difference between the image and the PDF?
The PDF splits long text across separate A4 pages and prints properly. The PNG is one tall image, which is easier to share in a chat.
How much text can I convert at once?
Up to 20,000 characters, which is roughly eight to ten pages depending on your font size and spacing. Longer than that, split it — the render stays fast and the pages stay clean.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. The page is rendered and handed back, and nothing is written to disk or kept afterwards.
Is this tool really free?
Yes. Every Confileo tool is free to use with no daily caps, no watermark on your output and no credit card required.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use the tool straight away without signing up or logging in.
Are my files safe and private?
Yes. Your files are processed for the task you requested and then deleted automatically — they are never shared or kept.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on desktop, tablet and mobile with nothing to install.
