Design a business card, ready for the print shop

Arabic on one side, English on the other, or both on one. Pick from twelve layouts, add your logo and a QR code that saves your contact, and download a CMYK PDF with bleed and crop marks, an A4 sheet of cards, or 300 dpi images.

  • Print PDF in CMYK with 3 mm bleed, with and without crop marks
  • A4 sheet of cards with cut marks (ten at 90 × 50 mm)
  • Front and back at 300 dpi (PNG)
  • Your contact as a vCard file

3 credits for this card. After that, every change and every file of the same card is included for 30 days in this browser.

Arabic and English, each set properly

Arabic is shaped by HarfBuzz and laid out right to left with the icon on the right; phone numbers and e-mails keep their own direction inside it. The English side mirrors the same design.

The file a print shop asks for

A PDF in CMYK with 3 mm bleed, crop marks and trim boxes, every letter as an outline so nothing is substituted, plus an A4 sheet of cards with cut marks for an office printer.

A QR code that saves your contact

The code holds a vCard with your name, title, numbers, e-mail and website: one scan and it is in the phone's contacts. The same card comes in the download as a .vcf file.

About Business Card Maker

Confileo's Business Card Maker tool lays out a two-sided business card — Arabic on one side and English on the other, or both on one — in twelve layouts with your logo and a QR code that saves your contact, and exports a CMYK PDF with 3 mm bleed and crop marks, an A4 sheet of cards, 300 dpi images and a vCard. It is drawn in your browser without uploading a file, and a guest can start without signing up.

A business card in Egypt or the Gulf usually has two jobs: it carries the details in Arabic for local clients and in English for everyone else. Printing shops will typeset it, and freelancers sell card designs for a few dollars each, but the visitor rarely gets the file and cannot change a phone number without asking again. This tool lays the card out from your own details, in twelve designs you can switch between, and hands over the files the print shop needs.

Each side follows its language. On the Arabic side the text is set right to left in a real Arabic typeface, shaped by HarfBuzz, with the icon on the right of each contact line; phone numbers, e-mails and websites keep their own left-to-right order inside it. The English side mirrors the same design. You can print the front in one language and the back in the other, put the details on the front and your logo on the back, use the two-language layout with both on one side, or print one side only.

The twelve layouts range from a classic white card to a split panel in your brand colour, a band, a corner, a dark card, a fine frame, a stripe, an arc and a monogram, plus a layout built around the QR code and a brand-first front with the details on the back. The fonts come in ten pairings, each matching an Arabic family with a Latin one: modern, clean, corporate, elegant, classic, heritage, bold, tech, friendly and kufi. A logo made in the Logo Maker carries its colours over to the card; an uploaded one keeps the colours you set.

The print files are what a print shop expects. The PDF is in CMYK, with 3 mm of bleed so a coloured ground runs past the cut, text kept 4 mm inside the trim, crop marks, and every letter converted to an outline. A second PDF without marks suits online printers. The A4 sheet, ten 90 × 50 mm cards with cut marks, is for printing a first batch on an office printer, and 300 dpi PNGs of each side are there for a quick proof or to share. The download also has your contact as a .vcf file to send to a phone.

Good to know before you print. Rounded corners are a finishing option the print shop applies, not part of the file, which is why the preview only suggests them. Screen colours and printed colours never match exactly, so ask for a printed proof before a large order. Designing is free and needs no account; downloading costs 3 credits for a card, and every change and file of the same card is included for 30 days in the same browser.

Business Card Maker — Frequently asked questions

What size is a business card in Egypt and the Gulf?

Usually 90 × 50 mm, the size this tool opens on. Europe mostly uses 85 × 55 mm and the United States 3.5 × 2 inches (88.9 × 50.8 mm); both are here too, horizontal or vertical. Ask your print shop which size it cuts before you order.

What file do I send to the print shop?

card-print-with-marks.pdf: one page per side, in CMYK, with 3 mm of bleed around the card, crop marks, and the trim and bleed boxes set so the shop's software knows where to cut. Every letter is an outline, so no font can be swapped. For an online printer that asks for bleed only, send card-print-bleed-only.pdf, and ask for a printed proof before a large run.

Can I print the cards myself?

Yes: the A4 sheet repeats the card with cut marks, ten per sheet at 90 × 50 mm. Print it on card stock (around 300 g/m², if your printer takes it), two-sided with the sheet flipped on the long edge so each back lands behind its front, and cut along the marks with a ruler and a sharp blade or a paper trimmer.

What does the QR code on the card do?

You choose. "Saves my contact" holds a vCard with your name, job title, company, phone numbers, e-mail and website: a phone camera pointed at it offers to add you to its contacts. "Opens my website" holds just the link and makes a smaller, simpler code. The tool warns you when the code is dense for its size, so print one card and scan it before you order.

Can I put my own logo on the card?

Yes. A logo made with the Logo Maker comes over as vectors, with a version for dark backgrounds, and the card takes its colours. You can also upload a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG: an SVG made of plain filled shapes stays vector, and anything else becomes a PNG of up to 1600 px, which prints sharp at the size of a logo on a card.

How much does it cost?

Designing and previewing is free and needs no account. Downloading costs 3 credits for a card, meaning one person with one company and number; after that, every change and every file of the same card is included for 30 days in the same browser. A card for someone else is a new card.

Is my information uploaded anywhere?

No. The card, the QR code and every file are made in your browser. The only request to our server counts the download; it carries a fingerprint of the card computed in your browser, not your details.

Is this tool really free?

You can try it free: 50 credits without an account and 300 with a free account, renewed on the 1st of every month. Every tool uses credits — file tools 3 per file and the heavy ones 12. No watermark, no credit card. Beyond the monthly credits, Pro gives open use with no credits to count, or you can buy a credit pack.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can use the tool straight away without signing up or logging in.

Are my files safe and private?

Yes. A file sent to our servers travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection and is deleted automatically after processing; tools that work in your browser never upload it. We don't open, read or sell your files.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on desktop, tablet and mobile with nothing to install.
