Turning photos into a PDF is almost always a submission problem. Government portals, universities, banks and job applications ask for a document, and a document means PDF — send five separate images instead and the file arrives out of order on someone else's screen, or gets rejected outright.
You upload your images, drag them into the order you want, and download a single PDF with each image on its own page. JPG and PNG are both accepted and quality is preserved.
Order is where this goes wrong most often. Uploading a batch sorts by filename, and camera names like IMG_0432 have nothing to do with the order of your document. Rearrange inside the tool before converting, or rename first using padded numbers — 01, 02, 03 rather than 1, 2, 10, because alphabetical sorting puts 10 before 2.
A note for iPhone users: photos are saved as HEIC by default, a format many systems will not open and some portals reject. Change Settings, Camera, Formats to "Most Compatible" to shoot JPG directly, or convert to JPG before uploading. Android photos and screenshots are already JPG or PNG and upload as they are.
To end up with a document rather than a stack of snapshots: shoot each page straight down rather than at an angle, use even light with no shadow of your hand or phone across the paper, and fill the frame with the page. If a photo is skewed or has too much background around it, crop it first — this tool preserves what you give it and cannot rescue a bad photograph.
If the finished PDF exceeds the size limit on the upload form, compress it rather than reshooting. Your images are processed and then deleted, and the originals on your device are unchanged.
