Under the hood this is text steganography, not a font trick. Your message is converted to bytes, and each bit becomes a zero-width character: U+200B (zero-width space) for 0 and U+200C (zero-width non-joiner) for 1, with U+200D (zero-width joiner) separating bytes and a U+FEFF byte-order mark flagging where the payload starts. Those characters are real Unicode — they travel through copy and paste like any other letter — they simply have no visible width.
The output is wrapped in U+2800, the Braille Pattern Blank. That character matters: it renders as nothing but counts as a real glyph, so apps that reject an empty field still accept it. That is the mechanism behind a blank username, a blank status, or a message bubble that looks empty.
Paste it back into the Reveal tab and the same encoding runs in reverse, so the hidden message comes out as ordinary text. Anyone with this page can decode it — treat it as concealment, not encryption. It hides a note in plain sight; it does not protect a secret from someone who knows to look.
Where it works depends on the platform, not on the tool. Fields that store text verbatim — most chat apps, bios, comments, documents, code editors — keep the characters intact. Platforms that normalise or strip Unicode whitespace on submit will silently remove them, and a few render them as a placeholder box instead.
