About PDF to PowerPoint
Confileo's PDF to PowerPoint tool turns every page of a PDF into a PowerPoint slide, with the text in editable text boxes in its own sizes, weights and colours over the page's pictures and graphics, Arabic set right to left, or each page as an exact picture. It works in any browser, free to start and without signup, and a file sent to our server is deleted automatically after processing.
A presentation often exists only as a PDF: the deck a speaker sent after the meeting, a report to be presented, a lecture's slides, a brochure to rework. Copying it slide by slide takes an afternoon, and most converters either make every slide one flat picture or scatter the text into hundreds of loose boxes.
This tool keeps the page and frees the words. The slides take the size of the PDF's pages; the page's pictures, shapes and backgrounds become the slide's background with the text taken out of it, and the text goes on top as real PowerPoint text boxes, one per paragraph, at its place on the page, in its size, weight and colour. Rows of a table are split where the columns are, so the cells stay apart.
Arabic is set the way PowerPoint expects it: right to left, with an Arabic font and the Arabic language on every Arabic line, so the letters join and the lines wrap correctly. The words come from the same extraction our PDF to Word tool uses, which puts the backwards Arabic of some PDF generators back in reading order.
When the look matters more than editing, Exact picture makes every slide a sharp image of its page (200 dpi) and puts the page's text in the notes. Scanned pages become picture slides in both modes. PDFs up to 150 pages and 100 MB; each conversion uses 12 credits when the file is ready.

PDF to PowerPoint — Frequently asked questions
Will the slides look like my PDF?
In Editable mode each slide has the page's pictures, shapes and backgrounds as one image behind the text, and the text sits where it was on the page, in the same size, weight and colour. What can differ is the font: when the PDF used a font your computer does not have, PowerPoint shows a similar one, and a line can come out a little longer or shorter. Exact picture mode looks identical, because each slide is an image of its page.
Does it work with Arabic PDFs?
Yes. Arabic lines are set right to left, with an Arabic font and the Arabic language on the text, so PowerPoint joins the letters and wraps the lines correctly. The words are read in their proper order, also from PDFs made by programs that store Arabic backwards. One known flaw: on the second and later lines of a paragraph, brackets can come out mirrored and need fixing by hand.
What happens to scanned pages?
A scanned page is a picture of text with no text in it to lift, so it becomes a picture slide in either mode. When the scan carries a hidden OCR text layer, that text goes into the slide's notes.
Can I edit the pictures and charts too?
Not one by one. Everything on the page that is not text (photos, logos, charts, table lines and backgrounds) comes as one image behind the text boxes, looking as it did in the PDF. You can move, change or delete every piece of text, and add your own shapes and pictures on top.
Is there a page or file size limit?
PDFs up to 100 MB and 150 pages. A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked first; when that is the problem, the page links you to the unlock tool.
How much does it cost?
Each conversion uses 12 credits, the rate of the heavy tools, and only when the PowerPoint file is ready. Without an account you get 50 free credits a month, and 300 with a free account.
Is this tool really free?
You can try it free: 50 credits without an account and 300 with a free account, renewed on the 1st of every month. Every tool uses credits — file tools 3 per file and the heavy ones 12. No watermark, no credit card. Beyond the monthly credits, Pro gives open use with no credits to count, or you can buy a credit pack.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use the tool straight away without signing up or logging in.
Are my files safe and private?
Yes. A file sent to our servers travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection and is deleted automatically after processing; tools that work in your browser never upload it. We don't open, read or sell your files.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on desktop, tablet and mobile with nothing to install.
