About Object Remover
Confileo's Object Remover tool removes a person, an object, a date stamp or a caption from a photo: you paint over it, and LaMa, an open inpainting model, fills the area in from its surroundings while the rest of the photo stays at full resolution. It works in any browser, free to start and without signup, and a file sent to our server is deleted automatically after processing.
The photo is right except for one thing: a stranger walking through the background, a bin by the door, the date the camera printed in the corner, a caption someone added, a cable across the sky. Many phone apps keep the eraser behind a subscription, and desktop editors expect you to clone pixels by hand.
Here you paint over it and press Remove. LaMa, an open inpainting model (Apache-2.0) from Samsung AI Center, fills the painted area from what surrounds it: the sky goes on behind the cable, the pavement behind the person, the wall behind the caption. It works on a square of the picture around each painted area and pastes the result back with a soft edge, so a 24-megapixel photo stays 24 megapixels and nothing outside the brush is redrawn.
Writing is the thing people most often want gone, so the tool can find it: Select all the text runs a text detector over the photo and paints a box over every line it finds; erase the paint from what should stay and press Remove. Removals can follow one another on the same photo, each one can be undone, and a slider compares the result with the original.
It works best where the background can be guessed: sky, sand, grass, water, walls, roads. A large object in front of a detailed scene, or half a face, asks for more than any model can invent; remove those in smaller pieces. Each removal uses 3 credits; finding text, painting and undoing are free.

Object Remover — Frequently asked questions
What can it remove?
A person or a car in the background, power lines, a date stamp, a caption, a sticker or a logo on your own photo, spots and small blemishes. It works best when what should be behind the object can be guessed from what is around it: sky, sand, grass, a wall, water, a road or a floor.
What does it do less well?
Large areas whose hidden part must be invented in detail: the other half of a face, writing behind the object, or a pattern that appears nowhere else in the picture. For those, remove the object in smaller pieces, one after another, or crop the photo.
Does the rest of my photo lose quality?
No. Only the painted area is replaced. The model works on a square around each painted area, and the result is pasted back with a soft edge at the photo's full size; outside the paint the picture is the original. A JPEG is saved again at quality 95 with full colour detail, a PNG without any loss.
How does Select all the text work?
A text detector (PaddleOCR) looks over the photo and paints a box over every line of writing it finds. Erase the paint from any text you want to keep, then press Remove. Finding the text costs nothing; only the removal uses credits.
Can I remove several things, or undo a removal?
Yes. Paint over several things at once, or remove them one after another: each result becomes the picture you keep working on. Undo last removal steps back one result at a time, and Compare shows the original beside the current version.
How much does it cost?
Each removal uses 3 credits when its result is ready; finding the text, painting, undoing and downloading cost nothing. Without an account you get 50 free credits a month, and 300 with a free account.
Is this tool really free?
You can try it free: 50 credits without an account and 300 with a free account, renewed on the 1st of every month. Every tool uses credits — file tools 3 per file and the heavy ones 12. No watermark, no credit card. Beyond the monthly credits, Pro gives open use with no credits to count, or you can buy a credit pack.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use the tool straight away without signing up or logging in.
Are my files safe and private?
Yes. A file sent to our servers travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection and is deleted automatically after processing; tools that work in your browser never upload it. We don't open, read or sell your files.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on desktop, tablet and mobile with nothing to install.
