About Greeting Card Maker
Confileo's Greeting Card Maker tool writes a person's name and a greeting in real Arabic calligraphy or an English script on a card drawn for the occasion, sixteen occasions and 39 designs, and exports it at WhatsApp, Instagram and print sizes, or as a link that opens the card on any phone. It is drawn in your browser without uploading a file, and a guest can start without signing up.
A card with someone's name on it says more than a forwarded picture, and at Ramadan and Eid millions of them go round on WhatsApp. Most are made in apps that set the name in a plain font on a stock picture, or by a freelancer for a few dollars each and a day's wait.
The Greeting Card Maker writes the name and the greeting in real Arabic calligraphy, in Ruqaa, Naskh, Kufi and modern Arabic hands, with the letters joined as they should be and lengthened with kashida, in gold where the design calls for it. An English name can be written in an English script, or spelled in Arabic letters from the suggestions the page offers.
There are sixteen occasions, each with its own designs drawn for it: lanterns and a crescent over a city of minarets for Ramadan, the Kaaba for Eid al-Adha and Hajj, roses for Friday, rings and flowers for a wedding, clouds and stars for a new baby, balloons and confetti for a birthday. Every design comes in three colourways and is drawn again for every size, so nothing is cropped.
The card leaves the page the way people send things: as a picture at the size of a WhatsApp status or an Instagram post, as a link that opens the card on the other person's phone with a button to save it, or as an A5 or A6 print PDF with bleed and crop marks.
For a company, a school or a large family, a list of up to 100 names becomes a card for each in one ZIP, the same design and words, each with its own name.

Greeting Card Maker — Frequently asked questions
Is the name written in real Arabic calligraphy?
Yes. The greeting and the name are set in openly licensed Arabic fonts of the classical and modern hands, Ruqaa, Naskh and Kufi among them, shaped by HarfBuzz so the letters join as they should, and they can be lengthened with kashida the way a calligrapher does. There is no Diwani or Thuluth: no openly licensed font of either is good enough to write a name in.
Which sizes can I download?
A 1080 × 1080 post for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook; a 1080 × 1920 story for a WhatsApp status; a 1600 × 900 wide picture; and A5 and A6 cards for printing, as a CMYK PDF with 3 mm bleed and crop marks, a PDF at the exact size for a home printer, or a 300 dpi PNG.
Can I send the card as a link?
Yes. "Send it as a link" makes an address like confileo.com/c/eid-al-fitr/… that opens the card on any phone, with a button to save it, and the WhatsApp button sends it straight away. The link preview shows the occasion's picture, and a link is kept for a year.
Can I make cards for many names at once?
Yes. Paste a list of up to 100 names, one a line, and download one card for each in a ZIP: the same design and words, each with its own name. For the print sizes the ZIP also holds one PDF of all the cards.
How much does it cost?
Making and trying cards is free and needs no account. Downloading a card costs 3 credits; after that every size, colour and wording of the same card (the same occasion and names) is included for 30 days in that browser, and sending it as a link uses the same payment. A list of names costs one credit a card, and at least 12.
Can I change the wording?
Every occasion comes with greetings and wishes to pick from, and both can be rewritten freely, in Arabic, English or both. A year can be added for Ramadan, the Hijri new year and New Year, in Arabic-Indic or Western digits.
Is the name sent anywhere?
The card is drawn in your browser. The server only counts the download, with a fingerprint of the names that your browser computes, not the names themselves, unless you send the card as a link: then its words and design are kept so the link can show them.
Is this tool really free?
You can try it free: 50 credits without an account and 300 with a free account, renewed on the 1st of every month. Every tool uses credits — file tools 3 per file and the heavy ones 12. No watermark, no credit card. Beyond the monthly credits, Pro gives open use with no credits to count, or you can buy a credit pack.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use the tool straight away without signing up or logging in.
Are my files safe and private?
Yes. A file sent to our servers travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection and is deleted automatically after processing; tools that work in your browser never upload it. We don't open, read or sell your files.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, so it works the same on desktop, tablet and mobile with nothing to install.
