Two-Column CV Template — Free

A light sidebar next to the main column. Where Onyx uses the split for effect, this one uses it purely for capacity: it is the template that fits a long career onto one page without shrinking the type to unreadable.

Reach for it when you have more to say than a single column allows and you still want the whole thing on one sheet.

Who this suits

  • Ten years or more of history that a recruiter still wants on one page.
  • Technical roles with long tool, framework and certification lists.
  • Multilingual applicants — languages and levels sit in the sidebar instead of eating a section.
  • Consultants and contractors with many short engagements to list.

What the design does

  • Light sidebar, no heavy colour fill, so it prints cleanly.
  • Skills, languages and certifications live in the narrow column, out of the way.
  • Experience keeps the wide column and full reading width.
  • Highest capacity per page of the seven templates.

When to choose something else

Same caveat as Onyx: two columns are where ATS parsers stumble, so for a strict corporate or government portal use Minimal. And with only one or two roles to show, the sidebar will look half-empty — Banner suits a short history better.

Two-column CV template — FAQ

Is this template free?

Three of the seven templates download free: Modern, Classic and Minimal — one download a month as a guest and one more with a free account. The other four (Elegant, Banner, Onyx and Sidebar) need a 48-hour pass or a plan. Free downloads are clean — no watermark, no footer.

Will it pass ATS screening?

Yes. All text is real selectable text, not an image, and the section headings use standard names (Experience, Education, Skills) that applicant tracking systems parse correctly.

Does it work in Arabic?

Yes. Choose Arabic as the document language and the whole layout flips to right-to-left with proper Arabic letter shaping — the text is not mirrored or broken.

Can I change it after downloading?

You can come back and edit any time — your draft is saved in your browser. To change the wording of an exported PDF, edit it here and download again rather than editing the PDF itself.
